TITLE I

Semitropic School District receives Title I funds from the federal government.  This money is to be used to help meet the academic needs of our socially disadvantaged students.  One of the requirements of receiving Title I funds is to inform you of your child's school status according to No Child Left Behind (NCLB).  We are in Program Improvement Year 5.  The attached letter explains what that means for our school and your student.
